What is Master Samurai Tech? How can it help us?
Master Samurai Tech (MST), is an online appliance repair training school.
Run by 20+ year veterans of the appliance repair trade, MST was founded to fill several needs in the industry:
- Provide a trackable resource to technicians so that they and their trainers can see progression and uniformity in all training. This will provide a much more structured platform for all and bring confidence to all techs as they develop their skills.
- Create a foundation that all techs will participate in and utilize, allowing for service opportunities to be evenly distributed throughout our service team. Creating a balanced and confident workforce that rely on each other, knowing they have the same training opportunities as everyone else.
- Increase profitability of appliance service calls by improving technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills of technicians. (Especially when it comes to modern, computer-controlled appliances)
- Give us a cost-effective way to turn new, inexperienced hires into independent, profitable repair techs in a timelier manner.

As techs apply their MST training on jobs, they will increase their first call complete rate, which in turn will lead to increased customer satisfaction and profitability of our service department. When a tech understands the technology in appliances and knows how to troubleshoot them, they become more efficient, confident, and able to tackle any problem. Also, by making the training process quantifiable, the tech and the on the job trainer can now track progress and feel more confident in abilities once the courses are complete.
The flagship course is Core Appliance Repair Training, which covers the fundamental technology found in all major appliances as well as the troubleshooting skills required for diagnostics, and is a must for all techs, rookie or veteran.
Also available are four Advanced courses that cover specific appliance types and give a lot more practice at troubleshooting using schematics—something a lot of techs have trouble doing.
We are able to enroll our team members in individual courses, or as part of larger overall bundles depending on need.

2. Two Steps to Mastery
You’ll still get all of the courses, but in two steps. This is a good option when you want to try a tech in the first course only to make sure the training will be a good fit.
Step One: Enroll in the Core Appliance Repair Training course. (Sterling price: $590.75)
Step Two: After the tech successfully completes Core, enroll in the Advanced Bundle, which includes the 4 Advanced Courses and Delivering Professional Service (Sterling price: $1015.75)
