Add to Your Knowledge and Income

Dryers and washers are both fairly easy once you’ve mastered the Core of Appliance Repair. Refrigerators on the other hand add a whole other level of complexity. Not surprisingly, expertise with refrigerators is both the most in-demand and most profitable knowledge an appliance repair tech can have (okay, second-most after the Core Training).

Tackling the additional complexities of refrigerator troubleshooting and repair is the next step on the road to mastery. This course will make you a master troubleshooter of today’s computer-controlled refrigerators, and teach you the skills needed to handle the majority of repair scenarios.

Very good Course, enjoyed the experience. The only improvement I can suggest is more information on sealed system diagnosis. Like if I run into a starved Evaporator do I have to find and fix the leak first. What methods are available to determine where the leak is. Or if the starving is caused by blocked how can one determine where the blockage is. Also maybe a list of what tools are suggested and necessary ie, I have not worked with piping before but I soldered electronics for many 30+ years, so I think a little practice and I can do it. I will look on the appliantology site for more information also. Thanks for putting together such a detailed course. Overall I give it a 5.

Just like the Fundamentals, this course on Refrigerators is AWESOME!! Not only does it guide you (with numerous videos and webinars) through troubleshooting various problems, but it also does an excellent job explaining the fascinating science behind this common appliance. Congratulations Team Samurai, you did it again!
- Mircea Geana

Learned a great deal about refrigeration, the components, and troubleshooting all in a short amount of time. easy to uinderstand videos and good explinations. Thank you!

Very informative

Everything is very useful here and presented in a somewhat entertaining manner so you don't fall asleep the entire time. I truly feel like I learned a great deal to put towards my profession and progressing towards being a great technician.
- Jefferson Nalley

Another great course. Probably my favorite so far.

The refrig unit was full of great information. The bonus modules were especially helpful in seeing more of a hands on aspect. As a non tech for the moment, the info in the unit provides more skill in going back to the servicers and asking what their process was in evaluating and making a decision on the type of repair needed as well as why they would junk out and not repair.
- joe schmitt

It's a super helpful course! There are a lot of materials in great details that have helped me understand about refrigeration tremendously. Highly recommended for anyone striving to be a great tech.
- Hendra Christianus

Great. Just wondering about different defrost thermostats. How to read the specs on them and why they are not always interchangeable. Maybe there is a seminar on them. Thank You! Maybe also a picture of a compressor tag that you point out how to read the specs on it.
